Hart Vineyard & Winery

Temecula, California

A Family-Owned Winery

with a Tradition of Quality

It was almost one full generation ago, in 1974. when the Hart Family first planted grape vines in the beautiful Temecula Valley. Six years later Joe and his wife, Nancy, built a winery on a corner of the 9 1/2 acre vineyard. And in 1980 the family produced and sold the first wines bearing the Hart label. Today, almost 20 years since Joe began, the family-run Hart Winery produces 3,000 cases of premium wine annually.

The Harts cultivate and harvest a wide variety of quality grapes on their scenic estate including Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc. Semillon, Syrah. and Viognier. Treating these grapes with a special blend of Old World techniques and modern processes, the Hart family produces a rich diversity of wines -- from Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay. Grenache, Mourvedre, and Merlot, to Sauvignon Blainc and White Reisling .

The Hart Winery places a special emphasis on Bordeaux varietals and style or wine making for Cabernet Sauvignon. Merlot. and Sauvignon Blanc. These fine wines -- together with Rhone varietals including white Viognier and red varietals such as Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah -- have established Joe Hart and the Hart Winery as one of the premier wine producers in Southern California.
